Community Overview
Nestled on the bank of Siene River this upscale community is the creation of Ladco developments.
This neighbourhood is located just off Bishop Grandin Blvd. It is one of the newest residential developments in Winnipeg and is the first in Winnipeg to develop a naturalized wetland system to collect storm water. There are two wetland systems both of them including a tall grass buffer, these systems are located in Phase 2 of Royalwood.
Housing Types and Cost
The style of homes found here included: 2 stories, bungalows, bi-levels. Many homes are customer-built or contain some customer-built amenities. There are also upscale condo developments in this project both bungalow style and two story town houses.
The houses in this area range from $300,000 to 1 million dollars.
Schools
At present, there are no schools in Royalwood. However there is land being held fpr the use of a school in the future.
Shopping
Nearly St. Vital center offers over 160 stores and services. Southdale shopping center is also just minutes away and offers a wide variety of shops and services.
Recreation Center:
Royalwood does not have any community center. However, there is a variety of community center in nearly Southdale and St. Vital. Boni-Vital pool is just a short distance away.
